Can I order titles which aren't in your online catalogue?

Yes! We are an independent mail order supplier, not tied to one particular publisher. This means that if an item of music is published anywhere in the world, then we should be able to get it for you. We aim to supply around 90% of orders from our extensive stock, but out-of-stock items can be ordered for later delivery. It is very rare that we draw a total blank on a piece of music which is known to be in print, though of course some items are no longer, or have never been, published. Can you imagine how vast a catalog of those hundreds of thousands of titles would be?! The rule is, if you want something, ask us. We'll do our best to locate it for you.

Do you have a shop where I can come and browse?

Sadly, no. Our Canterbury showroom was voted Best General Retail Showroom in the UK by the Music Industries' Association in 2000, but closed a year later, due to the enormous overheads of having a high street premises for what was becoming more and more a mail order business. We went with the flow, and became the UK's leading specialist music mail order supplier. These days we number amongst our customers hundreds of UK schools, colleges, choral societies and other organisations, many of whom do not enjoy the luxury of a traditional music shop in their local area. Since going mail order in 2002, we have found our service has improved because we are no longer distracted by the day-to-day demands of running a shop. We can give you more time on the phone, provide contents lists by email, and even give advice to teachers and students on suitable repertoire. Oh, and our prices are cheaper too, especially on bulk orders of vocal scores. Ask us for a quote!
